CHRYSALIS ACRYLIC NAIL EXTENSION TRAINING COURSE
INTRODUCTION
Our 1 day course is designed to be adaptable to suit both the amateur Nail Technician, to develop their skills, as well as an introduction for the complete novice to learn the basic skills required to become a practicing Nail Technician. A Portfolio is built by the learner (a file is provided).
The teacher, Christine Wheeler holds several qualifications in Nail Technology and has a PTLLS teaching certificate.
The course includes Nail Anatomy, Product Application and Knowledge, Consultation Techniques and Contra - indications, Nail Disorders, French Tips, Natural Overlays, Tip Removal, Infills and Equipment needed.
All the products, equipment and models will be provided for you by Chrysalis.
Your training will include theoretical and practical learning in an informal way, with trainees encouraged to feel at ease and comfortable, in a professional salon environment.
The cost of our course is £100.00 (no extra V.A.T.). £30 deposit is required on booking, £70 payable on the day of your training.
Our salon is situated Next to Gala Coffee Bar, at the bottom of Valley Road on Scarborough s South Bay. Museum Terrace overlooks the South Bay Coastline and the Spa footbridge. Numerous Hotels and B&Bs surround us if you require an overnight stay here. Parking Permits can be acquired from us for £3.50 per Day.
Dress code: Black Trousers, Black shoes, Black T-shirt. Hair tied back. Nails free from varnish.
On successfully completing the course you will receive your certificate.

CHRYSALIS BODY PIERCING COURSE
INTRODUCTION
Our 3 day course gives you full training and the knowledge needed to become Proffessional Piercer , providing the service of body piercing. Course held at Chrysalis Salon, South Bay, Scarborough or we can come and do in house training anywhere in the UK.
The aim of our course is to provide the learner with the essential skill s and information necessary to practice the Profession of Body Piercing, safely, effectively and legally.
A Portfolio is built by the learner over a three day course. (A file is provided)
Written tests, verbal and practical assessments will take place over the 3 day period. A certificate will be issued to the trainee completing the full 3 day course and exams.
The cost of the course is £500.00 including VAT

The Tutor, Christine Wheeler, is a Professional Body Piercer. She has practiced Body Piercing for over 25 years, acquiring the knowledge and experience and qualifications that has proved invaluable in producing this course. She also has a qualification in Adult Learning. (PTLLS).

PARKING PERMITS
Parking permits can be obtained from Chrysalis for £10 for 3 full days ( 24 hours each day).
Learn how to pierce all areas of the body with a proffessional single use, sterilised needle. Trainees will build a portfolio throughout the course. The course includes Anatomy of the Ear, Face and Body, Sterilisation Routines, Performing Piercings, Products, Equipment and Materials needed, Jewellery sizes and types, Health and Safety Laws, Client consultation, Client aftercare, Contra Indication and contra actions.
You will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necassary to perform a safe and hygenic ear, face and body piercing with a needle. Ideally trainees will have attained or will be working towards a separate qualification in either beauty therapy or hairdressing and hold a first aid certificate but this is not essential.
You will earn your money back in weeks.
OUR PIERCING INSTRUCTOR HAS HAD OVER 25 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A PROFFESSIONAL BODY PIERCER and holds Level 3 certificate in Beauty Therapy, First Aid and several Body Piercing qualifications, as well as teaching qualifications (PTTALS).
This course will give you all the knowledge you need to become a confident piercer. CERTIFICATE ISSUED AFTER 3 DAY COURSE IS FINISHED.

IDENTIFY PARTS OF THE EAR, FACE AND BODY STRUCTURE SUITABLE FOR PIERCING
- Ear, facial and body anatomy. Use correct terminology and identify correct locations
Piercing techniques and procedure routines

SEMI - PERMANENT EYELASHES COURSE
INTRODUCTION
Our 1 day course is designed to provide the basic skills needed for the complete novice to become a practicing consultant in Semi Permanent Eyelashes. A Portfolio is built by the learner on the day, showing all the areas covered and practiced on their training day. ( A file is provided).
The teacher, Christine wheeler, holds several qualifications in the Beauty Industry and also is a PTLLS qualified teacher.
All the products, equipment and models will be provided by Chrysalis.
The course includes Product knowledge, Preparation., Client consultation , Contra Indications, Aftercare and Application Procedure.
Your training will include theoretical and practical training in an informal way, with trainees encouraged to feel at ease and comfortable, in an established professional salon environment.
